1. Introduction - Student Grad Monitoring Assistant
This application has only recently been developed. I developed it at the request of a specific user.
It is written to meet that particular school's needs. It may meet the needs of other schools. If it does, or if it appears to be close to meeting
your needs, let me know. It is possible that I could adjust it to suit you.
The application takes data from the 'Graduates and Potential Graduates' Report.
It assigns a 'Credit Group' to each student based on the number of credits that each student has accumulated.
The user determines the 'Credit Groups'. For instance, during Semester 1, Grade 12 students might be assigned the following 'Credit Groups':
Group 1 - 22 or more credits, Group 2 - 20 or more, Group 3 - 18 or more, Group 4 - less than 18.
The user could then browse through all students (sorted in a variety of ways - by student, by credit group, etc.)
The presumption is that users may decide to 'Monitor' some of the students based on some criteria. For these students who will be monitored, the
user can enter a 'Monitoring Teacher name', Brief Monitoring comments. Also can indicate if the student is enrolled in Paid Co-op,
also if considered to be At Risk.
Some reports will display only students being monitored.
Some reports will display all students in specific credit groups.
This is a Microsoft© Access application file which requires no installation, other than to have Microsoft© Access
installed on your computer. Data is imported from the Trillium© 'Graduates and Potential Graduates' Report.

discussion/demonstration/tutorial which will teach you how to use the software.
No setup or initial data-entry would be required by the user.
The software purchase is a yearly licence, sold to a specific school.
Price of the software is $100.00 for a *full one-year licence. The licence expires at the end of the school year.
*The price would be adjusted/pro-rated based on the time of year that the purchase is made.
